Having gown up in the Middle East, I’m not surprised by the research findings. I want to know what the woman prefer to wear though, not what society deems as preferable.
It’s been two days and I’ve already had a lot happen this year! Today I celebrated both my birthday and my last day at work. Often people ask “what do you plan on doing this year?” or “what’s your resolution at this age?”, and for me, I can’t go twice at it. With the start of the year and my birthday being a day apart, I only get to reinvent myself once a year.
On that note though, I have a lot to look forward to this year, starting with school on the 13th of this month. I’m excited, but mostly nervous too.
At work my boss made a giant poster of me and hung it in the kitchen as a farewell gesture. Unfortunately I look like Gollum in it, but that’s alright.
This just cracked me up.
At work we did the Movember challenge. I think it turned out pretty well. I’ve been doing it since 2010 and only recently have joined the official site. It’s a visible way to raise awareness to a good cause. Both my parents had cancer, so I’m doing what I can. I’m dreading the routine checkups that are required, but I’m at least a few years away from that, I think.
I was checking up on what’s new in the Play Store when I first noticed it. Quick look back into my app drawer, and yup, it’s there too. Blue for you, and you, and you, and especially you!
So, idea or execution?
Here’s part of the awesome view at the office. In the middle window, you can see a plane landing.
I’d like to be a stay in home dad.
